All the shortlisted students should report at KIT at 8.00 am sharp.

>The candidates shall be informed to bring along with them the following:-
>1 Scientific Calculator
>2 Scale and compass.
>3 Pen, Pencils and soft eraser.
>
>The on-line test question papers shall be OBJECTIVE TYPE and based on the following:-
>       * Basic Mathematics (mensuration only),  Basic Physics ( Archimedes principle only ) all class  X.XII std)
>       * Strength of Materials ( Free body diagrams ,Moment of Inertia, Bending stresses and shear stresses in beams, Stress vs. Strain related chapters,
>       * Theory of Structures ( Theory of trusses, Simply supported beams, Propped cantilever beams , Continuous beams,
>Simple Frames ( columns and beams )-Bending Moments, shear forces, deflection,
>Moment distribution Method, Temperature stresses, Circular Rings subjected to radial pressures,
>       * Design of Steel elements ( For axial tension , Axial Compression including buckling , Bending , Shear )
>       * Basics Of Reinfoced Cement Concrete Designs ( properties of concrete & Reinforcement, typical Beam reinforcements, Column reinforcements only)
>       * Simple Hydraulics ( Bernoulli’s theorem and flow through Open channels only )
>       * Basics of Soil mechanics (Various types of soils and soil  pressures, Void ratio and Densities, Saturated Soil only)
>       * Engineering drawing ( Plan ,Elevation, Sections, Isometrics of simple 3 Dimensional objects only )
>       * Basic English Composition , Simple General Knowledge & Simple Current Affairs.

>
> We have already sent you the list of the shortlisted candidates for written test cum interview.
>Date for the test shall be 16thDecember’2011
The co. conduct on-line test OR written test for 2 hrs  and thereafter
 Group Discussions and  Interviews shall be held for the selected
candidates.
>
>The  whole process would require about 4-5 hours. The process shall start at about 8.30am  to 9.00 am.
